  • To begin, make a roux. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Cook for 1 minute after adding the flour. Whisk in the water until it is completely smooth. Pour in the milk and mix it well.
  • Toss in the spaghetti. Combine the uncooked pasta, garlic powder, ground mustard, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. then bring to a boil over high heat, then turn down to a low heat setting. Cook, tossing periodically to keep the noodles from adhering to the bottom of the pot, for 9-10 minutes until al dente.
  • Add the cheese and mix well. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cheddar, Parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses
  • To make the panko topping (optional), follow these steps: Combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika in a small mixing basin. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the panko mixture. at this point toast the breadcrumbs for 2-3 minutes, or until light brown. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • Serve. Warm mac and cheese should be served with toasted panko on top.

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp flour all-purpose
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 quarts milk
  • 1 pound elbow pasta uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon powdered garlic
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese sharp white
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese

Optional Panko Topping

  • 1 teaspoon powdered garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ tbsp olive oil extra virgin
